- Compliance with WhatsApp Commerce Policy: If you use Commerce Catalogs on the WhatsApp Business app, or provide any other commerce experiences to sell goods or services, you must comply with the policies and prohibitions listed in the WhatsApp Commerce Policy, as well as all applicable terms, laws and regulations1.
- Responsibility for Transactions: You are solely responsible for your transactions and providing any sales terms, privacy terms or other terms applicable to your interactions with users. WhatsApp is not responsible for processing, paying for, or fulfilling any sales relating to your transactions1.
- Taxes and Fees: You are solely responsible for determining, collecting, withholding, reporting, and remitting all applicable taxes, duties, fees and additional charges for sales relating to your transactions1.
- Prohibited Products or Services: There are certain products or services that are prohibited under the WhatsApp Commerce Policy. These include illegal products or services, drugs (whether prescription, recreational, or otherwise), tobacco items and related paraphernalia, alcohol, unsafe ingestible supplements, weapons, ammunition or explosives, animals and adult products or services1.
- WhatsApp Business API: You can use the WhatsApp Business API to communicate directly with your customers through session messages initiated by your customers or templated messages initiated by your business after opt-in is received2.
- WhatsApp Commerce Features: WhatsApp Business now allows brands to enable commerce features inside WhatsApp. The new feature offers multi-product messages and single-product messages - a simple way for businesses to feature and sell their products without leaving the chat2.
